He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy Ann Rutter (Gene) of Derry; and his brother Jerry Bryant Cignetti. He is survived by: his father Joseph Cignetti of Latrobe; his children, Jeffrey M. Cignetti of Mt. Pleasant and Shelby Cignetti-DeOliveira (Leonardo) of Mt. Pleasant; his brother Joseph Cignetti (Traci) of Derry; his stepsisters, Jessica Rutter of Somerset and Theresa Rutter of Latrobe; and his grandson Oliver. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
