He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman C. Sr. Barner and Stella Barner (Williams); his wife Jane Barner; and his siblings, Arthur Barner, Marian Barner and Anna Belle Barner.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin E. Barner (Sandy) of Thailand, Jack L. Barner of Latrobe and Kathy Ednie (David) of Latrobe; and his grandchildren, Michelle Corbett (Wayne), Tracy Shannon (Ralph), Brittany Hodgson (David), Blake Barner (Becca) and Cheryl Astorino (Joe). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
