He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry T. Harr and Thelma R. Harr (Gibson); his son Frederick Robert Harr; and his siblings, H. Ronald Harr and Constance Pletcher.

He is survived by: his wife Vicky J. Booth of Latrobe; his stepson Kendrick J. Bolish (Alexis Burke) of Latrobe; and his stepgrandchildren, Kaison, Kora and Michael. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
