He is survived by: his wife Tina Elam (Pomeroy); his children, Kimberly Sites, Kristen Turner Matthew (Brannon, Sr.) and Jeffrey Elam (Tess); his daughter-in-law Melissa Elam; his grandchildren, Aleshia Gooch, Brannon Turner, Jr., Logan Turner, Hunter Turner, Chaz Elam, Tyson Elam, Ella Elam and Navy Elam; his great grandchildren, Karson Gooch, Chance Stickle and Chase Stickle; and his sisters, Lois Shrewsbury (Graham) and Reva Fox (Bob).
