He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Carnahan and Florence Carnahan (Flodine); and his stepson Rhet Kuhns. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Carnahan (Ritenour); his children, Dale Carnahan Jr. (Beth) of North Huntington, Chris Carnahan of Long Island, NY and Toni Shipers of Sutersville; his siblings, Gary Carnahan (Audrey) of San Juan and Patricia Taylor of North Versailles; his stepsons, Derrik Kuhns (Stacie) of Unity Twp and Greg Kuhns (Cynde) of Warrenton, VA; his stepdaughter-in-law Christy Kuhns of Unity Twp; his grandchildren, Ashley Downey (Jeff), Brianna Carnahan, Haley Carnahan, Dylan Carnahan and Corey Carnahan; and his stepgrandchildren, Brandon Hofecker (Olivia), Derrica, Issac, Mitch, Reece, Baley Kuhns and Blake Bleehash. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
