He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph C. Crouse and Margaret J. Crouse (Kunkle); his granddaughter Jessica Mae Seremet; and his siblings, Edwin, Richard Crouse, Dennis, Joseph, Robert Hood, Gayle Miller and Gwen Laszlo.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis J. Hood (Shaulis) of Latrobe; his children, Philip L. Hood (Lovette) of Derry, Michelle L. Palmer (Randy) of Ligonier and Marsha L. Seremet of Greensburg; his siblings, Raymond Hood (Charlene) of Cook Township, Thelma Shuba of Youngwood, Geraldine Fox of Youngwood, Sondra Ferrari of Youngwood, Delores Rhodes of Armbrust and Patricia Crouse of Florida; and his grandchildren, Ian Hood, Haydan Hood, Megan Palmer and Miranda Palmer. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
