He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Ray and Mariah Ray (Heffelfinger); his wife Barbara J. Ray (Hackman); his son David Ray; his grandson Allen Mullen; and his siblings, Clarence Ray, Esther McCracken, Helen Terney, Jane Sessi and Alice Campbell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Mullen (Jim) of Latrobe and Darlene Hunter (John) of Latrobe; his grandchildren, Bryan Mullen (Sarah), Michael Hunter (Laura) and Felicia Hunter; and his great grandchildren, Jenna, Lauren and Lilia.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to a local animal shelter of one's choice.
