He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur S Ackerman Sr. and Eleanor Ackerman (Brown); and his brothers, Richard Ackerman and Gary Ackerman. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Jane Ackerman; his brother Ronald Ackerman of Massachusetts; his children, Gregory Bartek of Lansford, Joe Bartek (Heather) of Nesquehoning and Joanne Rousseau (Claude); his granddaughters, Alyssa Bartek of Lansford and Ashley Kehl (Todd) of Alexandria Louisiana; and his great grandchild Madison Kehl.
