She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Mariotti (Mexie) and Irene Uher Mariotti; her nephew Christopher Smell; and her brother-in-law Francis Smell Sr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Kim Novak (Michael Bogen) and Michele Novak; her sister Sonja Smell; her nephews, Francis Smell Jr. and Timothy Smell; and her niece Renae Saul.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her memory to any of her favorite local charities such as: The Lansford Historical Society, The Friends of Lansford Recreation, the No. 9 Coal Mine and Museum, and Lansford Alive.
