He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Scheitrum and Frances N. Scheitrum (Rinkenberg); his grandson Brandon Blasko; his brother Donald Scheitrum; and his nephew Brian Scheitrum.
He is survived by: his children, David (Jo Ann Scheitrum) of Summit Hill, Kerri Scheitrum of Tamaqua, Thomas (Andi Scheitrum) and Daniel (Tracy Scheitrum) of Harrisburg; his grandchildren, Nicollette, David, Adrienne, Ryan, Madison, Davin and Tyson; and his niece Lori (Maury Rutch). He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren.
