She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Shaffer (Gordon) and Williard N. Shaffer; her son Bruce; and her sister Beth. She is survived by: her spouse Thomas R. Reed; her grandchildren, Jennifer Lundquist (Matthew) of Maryland and Lynn Fuhrman (Brandon) of York; her great grandchildren, Oliver Thomas (Lundquist), Lucy Annabel (Lundquist) and Zain Richard (Fuhrman); her daughter-in-law Jeanie; and her grandchildren, Andy and Sydney.
