It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Smurkowski (Laceyville, Pennsylvania), born in Meshoppen, Pennsylvania, who passed away on March 31, 2018, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parent Edward J. Smurkowski; and his niece Carrie Sue Smurkowski. He is survived by: his parent Irene Smurkowski (Marcy); his daughter Marcy Singleton (Theodore Peterson) of Gouldsboro; his grandchildren, Ashante Robinson (Dylan Walsh) of Scranton and Eugene Robinson of Scranton; his great grandchildren, Ava Walsh of Scranton and Alina Walsh of Scranton; and his brothers, Steve Smurkowski (Debbie) of Meshoppen, Jack Smurkowski (Beth) of Meshoppen and Scott Smurkowski of Meshoppen. He is also survived by father, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend.
