With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Doris Whipple of Laceyville, Pennsylvania, born in Essex, Maryland, who passed away on May 13, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Diesel and Mimmie Miller Diesel; her husband Lawrence E. Whipple, Sr.; and her grandson Dale Edward Whipple. She is survived by: her children, Lawrence E. Whipple, Jr. (Laura) of Wyalusing, PA, Leeann Burgess of Wilmot Township, PA, Darlene Kohler (Gilbert) of West Auburn, PA and Kathleen Whipple (George) of Ohio; her close friend Jamie Thompson; and her grandchildren, Elaine Perry (Sean) of Horseheads, NY, Lawrence E. Whipple, III (Stefani) of Wyalusing, PA, Elizabeth Sprout (Cory) of Montrose, PA, Nicholas Kohler of West Auburn, PA, Sarah Renzelli (Nick) of West Virginia, Lacey Johnson of West Virginia and Carrie Wilmarth of Ohio. She is also survived by many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
