He was predeceased by: his spouse Margaret N. Houtz Schneck; his parents, Gordon Schneck and Amanda Glore Schneck; and his siblings, Stanley, Allen, Martin, Glenn, Russell, Harvey, Earl Schneck and Grace Umbenhauer.

He is survived by: his children, Lester A. (Barb Schneck) of Palatka, FL, Larry P. Schneck, Lebanon Twp, Judy A. (Herman Leffler) of Jonestown, Rose M. Weaver of Robesonia and Anne L. Reider of Charlotte, NC. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren and one great-great granddaughter.
