He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Peiffer and Elizabeth Peiffer (Kneasel); and his siblings, Mark Peiffer and Marian Peiffer. He is survived by: his wife Esther F. Peiffer (Siegrist); his pet Daisy; his children, Dennis H. (Glenda Peiffer) of Lebanon and Sheila E. (Barry Hilsher) of Ephrata; and his grandchildren, Andrew (Megan Peiffer), Courtney Peiffer (Anthony Rodriguez), Kyle (Whitney Peiffer), Erik Peiffer and Marissa (Ben Fellows).

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church.
