With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eugene R. Schamber (Jonestown, Pennsylvania), born in Fredericksburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 18, 2020 at the age of 82. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eugene R. Schamber to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Schamber and Ruth Wenger Schamber; and his sisters, Miriam Bordner and Marian Deaven. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor J. Workinger Schamber; his children, E. Richard Schamber (Barbara) of Jonestown, Ronald R. Schamber (Diane Reichard) of Jonestown, Cindy L. (Ben Coleman) of Lebanon and Sandy L. (Ken Fox) of Fredericksburg; and his siblings, Harold Schamber of Fredericksburg, Polly Zellers of Fredericksburg and Andora Miller of Harrisburg. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to his church building fund.
