He was predeceased by: his parents, Preston Hansell and Emily Batz Hansell; his grandson Terry Hansell; and his siblings, Harry, Harrison, George, Preston, John Hansell and Marguerite Hansell.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy J. Goshert Hansell; his children, Harry Hansell (Michelle), Charles B. Hansell, Jr. (Amy), Cindy (Craig Kantner) and Kim (Richard Seigrist); and his siblings, Samuel Hansell (Joan), Mary Jane Cade and Barbara (Dale Engle). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren.
