It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Monte Sr. in Jefferson, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 18, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Horace D. Monte and Gladys Monte (Nee Schaffer). He is survived by: his wife Sonya A. Monte (Nee Jones); his children, Annette Schuster (Dan) and John D. Monte, Jr. (Amber); his sibling Glenn Monte (Mark DeBoin); his grandchildren, Felicia, Christopher, Morgan, Jeffrey Schuster, Madelynn, Gabriel and Piper Monte; and his godchildren, Qasim Muhammad, Treron McBride and Krystle Ryan.
