It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry W. Ritchie of Jefferson, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 5, 2022, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Woodrow Ritchie and Stella Celapino Ritchie; his sister Sharon Ritchie; his sisters-in-law, Nancy H. Ferraton and Maryann Evans; and his father-in-law Clyde Evans.
He is survived by: his niece Michelle; his significant other Rebecca Ritchie (Becky Evans); his sons, Barry Ritchie Jr. (Jennifer) of Frostburg, MD, Brian Ritchie of Robinson Twp and Chris Ritchie (Jennifer) of Jefferson Estates; his grandchildren, Trevor, Jacob, Emilee, Alyssa, Tyler, Noah and Luca Bella Ritchie; his siblings, Linda Podraza (Regis) of Yukon and Ron Ritchie (Beverly) of Belle Vernon; his brothers-in-law, Clyde Evans of New Hope, PA and Tim Evans (Cathy) of Morrisville, PA; his mother-in-law Caroline Evans; and also Chuck. He is also survived by many friends and family.
The Family suggests memorial contributions be made in memory of Barry W. Ritchie to the Alzheimer's Association.
