He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Defibaugh and Laura Mae Defibaugh (Rinard); and his siblings, Trudy, Brenda, Bonnie Sue Defibaugh, Paul Thomas Defibaugh, Stanley A. Defibaugh and Duane Lee Defibaugh Sr..

He is survived by: his wife Sharon Defibaugh (Fouse); his siblings, Larry Defibaugh of Martinsburg, Kenneth Defibaugh of Pittsburgh, Mary Soders of Mt. Union, Kathy Worthy of Maryland and Sallie Bathavic of Shippensburg; his sister-in-law Vicki Defibaugh of Chambersburg; and his stepsons, Eric Gill (Fern) of Duncansville and Nathan Gill (Lori) of Homer City. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the funeral home to assist the family with final expenses.
