She was predeceased by: her parents, Conrad Smuda and Telethia Smuda (Bair); and her nephew Joseph Sergeant. She is survived by: her husband Darryl Leach; her children, Mandi Sosak, Amber Leach and Jeffrey Oakes; her grandchildren, Isaiah, Alayna and Claire; and her siblings, Roy Smuda (Ruth), Ed Smuda (Peggy) and Constance Bowens (Donald).
