He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kinton and Ada Kinton (Shaffer); his son Clark Kinton; and his son-in-law Terry R. Bower. He is survived by: his wife Marion Kinton; his daughters, Florene K. Bower, Corriganville Harden and Lucia K. Harden; his husband Garry Harden; and his great grandchildren, Alex, Aiden, Madeline, Ashlin, Zachary, Kenley, Hayla, Addison, Billy, Lindsey, Christina and Kristen.
