He was predeceased by: his parents, Herman Rawlings and Margaret Rawlings (Bruck); and his sister Janet Bittner. He is survived by: his wife LaVerne Rawlings (Imler); his children, Herman Rawlings Jr. (Kimberly) of Chincoteague, VA and Kitty Shaw of Hyndman; his grandchildren, Holly Kienhofer (Brendon), Shannon Taylor (Tom), Danielle Shaw, Kimberly Shaw and Traise Rawlings (Kay); his great grandchildren, Eli, Addison Shaw, Ashlynn Kienhofer and Hannah Shaffer; his siblings, Robert R. Devore, Cloyd Hyatt, Vivian Shroyer, Yvonne Morris and Sheila Zerr; and his caregivers, Carolyn, Sherrie, Mary Margaret and Kitty.
