It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Jane Housel of Hyndman, Pennsylvania, born in Fairhope, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 7, 2020, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Henry and Eva Deremer (Perdew); her husband Eugene Housel; her son Michael Housel; her son-in-law Gary Shaffer; and her siblings, Mary Hare, Paul Dermer and James Deremer.
She is survived by: her children, Donna Shaffer of Flinton, PA and David; her daughter-in-law Neva Housel of Hyndman; her grandchildren, Kimberly Boone (Joseph) of Fairfax, VA, Kristi Foist (Jason) of Rio Rancho, NM and Missy Housel of Hyndman; and her great grandchildren, Nathaniel, Samuel, Samantha and Logan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
