It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evelyn Hess (Howard, Pennsylvania), born in Maugansville, Maryland, who passed away on November 28, 2019, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Grace V. Williams (Hufner) and Russell G. Williams; her son Rallin L. Peck; and her siblings, Laura Straley and John Williams.
She is survived by: her stepson Roy; her daughter-in-law Valeska Peck of Shippensburg, PA; and her sisters, Pauline Weaver of Tulsa, OK, Myrtle Nitchman of Harrisburg, PA, Sarah Sandy of Ames and Ethel Ulsh of Battlefield. She is also survived by four grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
