She was predeceased by: her parents, George Franklin Brooks III and Shirley Jane Brooks. She is survived by: her husband Adam F. Burkhardt; her siblings, Susan Klink (Harry), Sharon Fitzgerald (Wayne), Sheryl Uhall (George), George Brooks and Stacy Manning (James); and her sisters-in-law, Dorothy Donahue (late Larry), Pauline Donovan (late Mike) and Amey Richards (Bruce).
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to either the Hatboro Community Church or the Horsham Fire Department in Sandra's memory.
