We are sad to announce that on February 26, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Richard Long of Hopwood, Pennsylvania, born in Akron, Ohio. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Long and Esther Long (Borrell); his children, Debra Grimm and Ross; his wife Peggy Jean Long (Reynolds); and his siblings, Marilyn Swaney, Dorothy Hutchinson, Rita Jacobs and Donald Cook.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel Long (Terrie) of Uniontown and Linda Collins (John) of Connellsville; his granddaughters, Amanda Collins, Annie Brown and Emily Collins (Ricky Pierce); his great grandchild Raiden Pierce; his stepgrandchildren, Katie, JT and Foster; his brothers, Larry Long (Stephanie) of Hopwood and Wayne Long (Betty) of Hopwood; and his goddaughters, Colleen Swaney of Hopwood and Kim Kelley of Lewis Center. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Due to Covid-19 state and federal guidelines and restrictions, social distancing and mask are required at the viewing and service.
