With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Thersa Helms (Hopewell, Pennsylvania), born in Aliquippa, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 22, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nicholas Barson and Mary Barson (Plofchan); her husband Frank Helms; her son Frank Helms; and her siblings, Nicholas Barson, Jr., Michael "Sonny" Barson and Marion Sisson.
She is survived by: her sons, Robert Helms, Denis Helms and Edward (Susan Helms); her daughter-in-law Christine Helms; her sisters, Helen Catus, Delores Andy and Carol Haney; and her niece Mary Kay Simpson. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; several great grandchildren.
