He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Barton and Virgie Barton (Ritchey). He is survived by: his wife Susan Barton (Hughes); his daughter Chantell Gallagher; his grandchildren, Jayven, Daylen, Arianna, Zaylen and Oaklen; and his brother Darryl Barton of Hopewell.
