He was predeceased by: his parents, George Sokso and Elizabeth Townsend Sokso; and his siblings, Richard, Ronald, Michael and Barbara Sokso.

He is survived by: his wife Carol Lea Vandegriff Sokso; his daughters, Carol Denise Simmers (Gary) of Narvon, PA, Donna Jean Sokso of Honey Brook, Deborah Margaret Kaye Trego (Donald) of Wagontown, PA and Dawn E. Super (Todd) of Honey Brook; and his siblings, Kenneth Sokso of Gap, PA and Joan Kook of Glenmoore, PA..
