He was predeceased by: his parents, Ned Pellegrene and Theresa Pellegrene (Arone); his wife Frances (Broskin); his daughter Helen Susan Purpura; and his brothers, Tom, John and Fred.
He is survived by: his children, Gene Pellegrene (Kendy) of Blairsville, Joseph Pellegrene and Theresa Pellegrene Dunlap; his sisters, Joanne Boske (Tom) and Marie Gezich; his grandchildren, Kendy Guarinoni (Joe), Chris Gahagan (Brooke), Ed Dunlap (Stephanie), Patrick Gahagan, Nick Pellegrene, Susan Hall (Matt), Gene Pellegrene and Lisa Pellegrene; and his great grandchild Alexandria Hall. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
