He is survived by: his friends, MaryJo, Larry and Linus; his wife Virginia "Ginny" Carruthers; his sons, Brett Carruthers (Lisa) and Brad Carruthers; his grandchildren, Alexander, Brianna, Nicholas and Hannah; his great grandchild Mikayla; and his sister Theo C. (Martin Marietta).
