He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wanchisn and Anna Wanchisn (Guba); his parents-in-law, Mike and Mary Rado; and his brothers-in-law, Dick Durnwald and Michael Rado.

He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Wanchisn (Rado); his daughters, Debbie (James MacBlane), McKinney of Texas and Carol (Mark Mlakar); his grandchildren, Mike MacBlane, Ashley MacBlane and Matthew Mlakar; his siblings, Paul (Judy Wanchisn) and Mary Durnwald; his siblings-in-law, Barb Rado, Pauline Yerecic and Charles Fenton; and his nephew Jim Rado. He is also survived by several other nieces and nephews.
