He is survived by: his wife Joyce Szalkowski (Zack); his children, Brian Szalkowski of Indiana and Karen Bates of Miami, Florida; his grandchildren, Jarhed Szalkowski of Homer City, Austin Szalkowski of Homer City, Brionna Szalkowski of Shelocta, Alex Szalkowski of Shelocta and Alora Young of Miami, FL; and his sister Irene Kranitz (Donald) of North Carolina. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
