It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Stephen Wacyk of Hatfield, Pennsylvania, born in Van Hornesville, New York, who passed away at the age of 88, on May 2, 2022. He was predeceased by: his parents, Andrew Wacyk and Catherine Chuniak Wacyk; and his siblings, Michael (Marietta Wacyk), Mary (Philip Hinotsky) and Anna (Robert Getman).

He is survived by: his wife Shirley Wacyk; his children, Craig (Ursula Wacyk) of Sellersville, PA and Marsha (Scott Hirst) of Smithfield, RI; and his grandchildren, Andrew Wacyk (Tiffany Stout), Katherine Wacyk, Jesse (Sophia Hirst) and Kayla (Rob Spampinato). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Ukrainian war relief through World Central Kitchen (WCK) or support of US Veterans through the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP).

“Dear Shirley-My husband Joseph (Cookie) Eramo was a friend & neighbor from Pleasant Ave -I certainly remember Steve & my husband playing basketball together & they would visit his sister Marietta on her farm. Your sister Barbara married my second Cousin Frankie & your parents lived in Midtown Apts--your Dad would bring Hickory nuts he would gather to my Dad, I remember Steve's parents because I grew up on Eureka Ave, My husband died May 12, 2020. God Bless Steve & you & your family.”
