With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sarah Svane (Harleysville, Pennsylvania), born in Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on March 12, 2018 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her spouse Lawrence Svane; her parent Russell Paul; and also Edward LaGuardia. She is survived by: her parent Dorthea "Dot" Dowdy (Kaler); her children, Diane Smith (Edward), Elaine Muraresku (Charles), Linda Molloy (Edward), Edward LaGuardia (Germaine), Steven LaGuardia (Kim) and David LaGuardia (Emily); her brother Lawrence Dowdy; her great grandchild Francis David Pennings; and her brothers, Robert Dowdy and Franklin C. Dowdy. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 32 great grandchildren.
