He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Earl "Lefty" Hite and Bessie Deremer Hite. He is survived by: his wife Ruth Hillis Hite; his children, Bill Hite of Oak Hill, Virginia, Wendy Overly (Bob) of Greensburg, Amy McCloskey (John) of Greensburg and Susan Dzendzel (Dave) of Greensburg; and his sister Joanne Noel of Latrobe. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
