He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Garstecki and Loretta Garstecki (Withrow); and his siblings, William, Rhoda and Elaine.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Ann Garstecki (Bodner); his sons, Gregory M. (Beverly) of St. Joseph, Mich, Jeffrey F. (Tammie) of Cedar Key, Fla. and Brian S. Garstecki (Elizabeth) of Ellicott City; his grandchildren, Allyson, Megan, Ken, Madison and Abigail; his great grandchild Emma; his siblings, Philip, Paul, Daniel, Sally, Pam, Betty, Cheryl, Naomi, Ruthie and Joyce; and his siblings-in-law, Patty Sliva and Frank Sliva (Janet). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
