He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles "Boo" McHenry and Elaine McHenry (Keffer). He is survived by: his wife Nancy; his children, Meghan (Eric) of Newport News, Virginia and Matthew (Jacqueline) of Elizabeth, Pennsylvania; his sisters, Beth Harris (Larry) of Bethel Park and Jennifer Lorence (Erik) of League City, Texas; his grandson Finnegan McHenry; his nephews, Jake Harris and Eli Kirk; his niece Emma Harris; and his pet Dorie.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Greensburg.
