He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Garchar and Angelia Nellie Garchar (Geshinsky); his wife Mary Ann Garchar (Stefl); and his siblings, Edward, Frank, Bill and Eleanor Garchar.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lisa Amorso (Dwayne) and Amy Thropp (Chuck); and his grandsons, Alex Thropp and Aaron Amoroso. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Leo M. Bacha Funeral Home, Inc. (516 Stanton St, Greensburg, PA 15601). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 29th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Tri-City Meals on Wheels, 716 Foster St, Greensburg, PA 15601.
