He was predeceased by: his parents, Bearl Bernard Merico and Gladys Mae Meyerhoff Merico; his daughter Patricia Rose Merico; and his siblings, Earl Bud Merico, Allen Nielsen and Kay Lloyd.
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary A. Falkosky Merico; his daughter Michelle Falkosky; and his siblings, Glen Nielsen (Janet) and Margaret Rossi (Al). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews and in-laws.
