With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lynn Elwood Scott of Greencastle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 21, 2022 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Betty Lou Scott (Ronald Werst). He is survived by: his wife Naomi Scott (Sis); his siblings, Scott Werst (Theresa) and Dorothy Myers; and his children, Karissa Barr (David), Kandi Encalade, Ronald Byers, Venita Kaufman, Cheryl Carbaugh (Danny) and Jami McDonald (John). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren (plus one on the way) and 1 great, great-grandchild.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) is offering qualified families up to $9, 000 for funeral expenses incurred due to the death of a loved one from COVID-19. The COVID-19 pandemic has caused immense grief for so many people.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Shriners' Hospital for Children, 3551 N. Broad St., Philadelphia, PA 19101, or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TX 38105.
