He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Josephine Williams Luther; his children, Mary Landry (George), William Luther Jr. (Catherine), Catherine Benzenhoefer (Robert) and Barbara Kennedy (Donald); his grandchildren, Adam, Catherine Landry, Jodie Reid (Robert), William III, Molly, Collin, Ryan Luther, Matthew, Cassie, Kelly Benzenhoefer and Michael Kennedy; and his great grandchildren, William, Rowan, Thomas Kennedy and Otto Reid.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation OR the Arthritis Foundation.
