He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Frank C. Hursen and Jane Mary Hursen (Toner); his wife Florence Hursen (Braszo); his stepdaughter Linda Hartman (Andrew); his granddaughter Corinne Hartman; his children, Joan Szabo (Atilla), Timothy (Amanda), Kathleen McIntyre (Wayne), Amy Turkin (Sherwin), Sara, Thomas Jr., Martha, Ursula and Mark; his daughter-in-law Becky Hursen; his former wife Joan Gloria Hursen (Carpenter); and his brothers, David (late Lorraine), James and Francis. He was also cherished by six grandchildren, four great-grandsons.
