He was loved and cherished by many people including: his spouse Claire Sabatiello Bollinger; his children, Amy Stayduhar (Stephen), Stephen Cole (Jacey Schott), Calvin Bollinger, Samuel Wick and Sara Volpe Stayduhar; his sister Patricia Ghen (David) of Florida; and his parents, Ellsworth Bollinger and Katherine Bollinger (Kemerer).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Children's Institute of Pittsburgh.
