He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, William Purdue and Isabelle Larkin Purdue; his wife Joyce Dreshar Purdue; his children, Barbara Beckman, Robert Purdue, William Purdue (Cathy) and Joseph Purdue; his siblings, Joan Mackie and William Purdue; and his grandsons, William, Anthony and Matthew Purdue.
