He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Walter Reed and Reba Reed; his children, Leslie Reed Myers (John), Brookeville, MD, Bryan D. Reed and Robert B. Reed Gettysburg (Jennifer Reed); his grandchildren, Robert J. Myers, Ashley Myers Carrier (Darrin), Dustin Reed (Amanda) and Kodi Reed; his wife Shirley; and his siblings, Walter Reed (Bud), Mary Hoover, Doris Stitt, David Reed of Huntingdon, PA and Barbara Jackson.
Robert passed after a lengthy battle with Parkinson's Disease and short battle of CoVid 19.
