With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lester D. Carey of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Biglerville, Pennsylvania, who passed away on July 9, 2021 at the age of 101. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Otho Carey and Eva Carey (Mickley); his son Daniel Carey; and his siblings, Evelyn Funt and Robert Carey.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Carey (Miller); his son Wayne Carey of West Virginia; his grandchildren, Michael D. Carey (Denise), Melissa A. Carey and Angela E. Carey; his great grandchildren, Tyler A. and Dylan D. Carey; his daughter-in-law Judy Carey of Biglerville; and his brother William R. Carey of Gettysburg. He is also survived by five nieces and nephews.
