It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gregg W. Boehne of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, born in Nyack, New York, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John William (Bill) and Audrey Boehne; his wife Ruth Munch Boehne; his daughter Kara Boehne-Miele (Peter Miele); his grandchildren, Katie Boehne-Barnes (Brett) and Parker Barnes; his sister Lynne Battin; and his niece Chloe Battin. He was also cherished by cousins, extended family, and friends.

“My sincere sympathy for you all. I see Mr. Boehne was an extraordinary educator. I'm a professional actor and appreciate his passion for the art. I believe it's possible that Mrs. Ruth Boehne taught me German at Gettysburg High in the 1970s. I have been thinking about her these past couple of weeks.
