It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Nancy Jane Barnes of Folcroft, Pennsylvania, who passed away on February 12, 2025, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Houck and Margaret Houck; her brothers, Brian Houck, Joe Miller and Jack Miller; and her son Michael V. Barnes.
She is survived by: her husband Richard W. Barnes (Dick); her children, Richard (Beth), Gary (Effie) and Susan Barnes Shields (Rich); and her daughter-in-law Sharon Barnes. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Parish of St. John Neumann Church (680 Town Bank Rd, Cape May, NJ 08204). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:15 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. Mary RC Cemetery (1056 Seashore Rd, Cape May, NJ 08204).
The family would prefer donations be made in lieu of flowers to the Dementia Society of America or the American Cancer Society.
